Hey guys! The next upcoming dates for  the mandatory rehearsals Thursday, May 31st from 1-4pm Friday, June 1st from 8-11am, 1-4pm Saturday, June 2nd 8-11am, 1-4pm, with a parent performance at 6 If there are any conflicts please contact rhsvisualensemble@gmail.com Some things to keep in mind... -Please bring water! We will be working inside and outside. For health purposes please bring plenty of water. One small plastic water bottle is not enough. -Eat breakfast your body needs fuel to start the day! Try to avoid milk. For example, personally I have an egg with two pieces of toast with peanut butter and water. -Bring a lunch. You absolutely need to bring food in between blocks, you can't run on fumes. -Wear the appropriate clothing. Black shorts and a black tank top or t shirt are highly recommended. 5/22 8th Grade Marching Night 5/24 Inaugural Marching Rehearsal -all members are expected to attend both -any conflict must be communicated to the director ( rhsvisualensemble@gmail.com ) - a portion of these events is expected to be outside so dress appropriately -bring water JUNE 6/2 Summer Band Bash - This is a fundraising opportunity held by the RABB. There will be games and raffles and food! All members should try and participate although it's not mandatory. 6/18-6/22  VISUAL ENSEMBLE CAMP - This is a required Visual Ensemble camp where you will learn things necessary for the rest of the season.

Hey guys! This is a reminder of what to wear tomorrow. -Plain black t-shirt with NO logos -Plain black leggings or shorts -NO socks -Hair up and neat -Natural makeup - nothing too fancy All of you will do great! Remember you are scored on Appearance- 10pts. Dance- 30pts. Flag- 30pts. Performance- 30pts. 2 possible extra points awarded for special skill at the end!  You need a minimum of 80pts. to become a member. Remember to try your hardest and always perform to the fullest. The second day of auditions went by quickly with all the fun we had! We learned  the rest of our flag choreography today and it is linked below. What a successful clinic! The kids played some games, learned a little dance ditty that led into some of the basics of flag technique. They even tossed a little! It was so nice to see everyone get along and have fun together! The new group of kids impressed everyone by how well they caught on! Some even took a flag home to practice and get a head start! This is exciting and it'll be a great year if we keep this up! Can't wait to see them back at auditions! Amanda :)
